Three Kings Vodka

Our story

Three Kings started 25-years ago when its founders started tinkering with flavored vodkas in their kitchen. While they loved the concept of flavored vodkas, they never liked the execution; the versions on the market just never tasted right.

How we started

This is how it all started, and to this day, this remains Three Kings’ production process.

After decades of experimentation, they felt they were producing world class flavored vodkas. Interestingly, what made them so great was their simplicity:

Amazing Vodka With Fruit

Studying the industry over the years, what surprised the Three Kings team the most was they were basically all clear; how can a Raspberry Vodka not be red?  Further research showed that what all other flavored vodkas tended to do was some combination of the following: lower the alcohol content, add sugar, and add “natural flavors.”

Three Kings refuses to employ any of these short cuts; in fact, we take the opposite of this approach.  We handcraft our own vodka using premium Canadian Wheat; then we add real fruit and berries, and let the Vodka soak for months as it absorbs the flavor and color of the fruit.  Importantly, Three Kings are the only Vodkas on the market that are colored as a result of touching real fruit: our Raspberry Vodka is red, our Mixed Berry is purple, and so on, all because they sit on real fruit, absorbing the natural color and flavor.

Rather than using an assembly line approach, we produce our Vodkas in a truly artisanal fashion in tiny, hand crafted batches, resulting in the best vodka you will ever taste.  Our process is so unique that regulators require our label to say Vodka With Raspberries, rather than Flavored Vodka.  All the care in making them results in shockingly good Vodka that you will want to stock up on.

Given our natural ingredients and our commitment to the highest quality products, our Vodkas the perfect base for the most refreshing cocktail you can have.   They can also be enjoyed straight, as a martini or on the rocks; they are so smooth that many customers actually believe they are pre-mixed drinks.

What does using fresh fruit and berries mean?

First and foremost, using fresh fruit and berries means the taste is going to make you feel like you literally pulled your cocktail out of the berry patch, or off the tree. The taste is so “real,” it’s what we at Three Kings call “Peak Refreshment.” Using fresh fruit also means that there may be slightly different colors in different bottles. As we say on our label, no berry or piece of fruit is identical, so each batch of our vodkas will have slight variations. Additionally, using fresh fruit means you may see a tiny seed here or that that makes it through our extensive filtration process, but, trust us, it won’t hurt the product or flavor; it just proves we’re telling the truth about how fresh our product is.

Care for your Three Kings Vodka.

While plain vodka loves to be stored in the freezer, Three Kings Vodkas don’t. Again, it’s all about the fruit, and they don’t agree with the freezer. That said, they are more than happy to stay in the refrigerator, so they are already cool when you come home, and want Three Kings “peak refreshment.” Of course, they can sit in your liquor cabinet for years, and will taste the same as the day your bought them, but as good as they are, we just can’t see that happening.

Plain or Mixed Drink?

Please go to our Recipes tab for fantastic Three Kings cocktail recipes; when our vodkas are mixed in a cocktail, it will at the very least be the best drink you’ll have all year. That said, some Three Kings fans prefer to simply throw some ice in a glass, and start pouring. Of course, we agree that our vodkas truly stand on their own, and taste so good, some people wonder, “why bother with a mixer?” While we agree, we want to point out that, while delicious, you will be drinking straight vodka; it is not a pre-mixed drink from the grocery store.
